Install in Chrome
Download the extension ZIP from Download the extension ZIP, unzip it, open chrome://extensions in Chrome, turn on Developer mode and choose Load unpacked. Select the folder containing manifest.json. The extension is not yet listed in the Chrome Web Store. Install only from the Team2FA download link.
Connect your account
Pin Team2FA to the toolbar and choose Connect Team2FA. The extension opens the Team2FA website. Sign in with your password or passkey, complete any required verification, compare the eight character code and choose Connect extension. Return to the popup. Your password stays in the website sign in form.
Use your codes
Choose an organization, search by account or service, filter by platform or code group, or select Mine or No Group. Select a code to reveal it or choose Copy. The popup cannot create or manage codes, groups or members; use the web app for those tasks. Current codes require an internet connection.
Session and troubleshooting
The connection is linked to the approved web session and expires after at most 12 hours. It is cleared from Chrome session storage when the browser closes; connect again if needed. You can disconnect in the extension menu. If an organization asks for verification, complete it in the website and refresh the popup. If you revoke the web session, the extension loses access too.
